Dr. Dawson is always moving and wants to help her patients do the same. A passionate runner, her special interests include the pregnant athlete, pro-active preventative healthcare, fitness and plant-based nutrition. A good listener with a calm, steady demeanor, Dr. Dawson knew she wanted to be a doctor in middle school. She determined OB/GYN would be her specialty after researching in vitro fertilization in Australia. Dr. Dawson's favorite part of her job is "caring for amazing Maine women and hearing their stories."
A Portland, Maine, native, Dr. Dawson lives in Cape Elizabeth with her husband and two sons. She is a competitive marathon runner and a certified running coach. She loves to travel with her family and spend time reading and hiking. Her volunteer work includes medical missions to the Dominican Republic and Kenya.
