COVID-19, RESPIRATORY ILLNESS, and VISITOR GUIDELINES

For the health of our patients and staff we have implemented a new Respiratory Illness Policy, effective Wednesday, August 28, 2024

  • Please notify our office if you are experiencing respiratory symptoms or have tested positive for COVID 19, influenza, or RSV and have an upcoming appointment. Your appointment will be rescheduled at least five days out from the onset of your symptoms or your positive test (if you are asymptomatic)
  • You must be at least 24 hours fever free without the use of fever-reducing medications to be seen in the office
  • A well-fitting mask must be worn during your visit if you are seen within 10 days of the onset of your symptoms or positive test (if you are asymptomatic)
  • If you are experiencing respiratory symptoms or have tested positive for COVID 19, influenza, or RSV and are experiencing an acute obstetrical or gynecological issue, please call 207-885-8400 and select the prompt to speak with a nurse for further recommendations from your provider.
  • VISITORS: Patients may bring one family member or partner with them to their appointments. We reserve the right to ask guests to wait in their vehicle if waiting rooms are full.
  • CHILDREN: At this time we are not allowing any children in the office unless they are a newborn or patient.
