Growing up in the small town of Chelsea, Maine, Ashley loved science and teaching others, so becoming a nurse practitioner was “an easy choice.” She was inspired by many strong, knowledgeable and kind female role models, and wants women to share information and understand their bodies. Ashley says, “Treat food like medicine. Move your body as much as you can. Surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you – It will make all the difference in your health.” She practices what she preaches through her love for running and healthy eating.

Ashley lives in Harpswell, Maine. She enjoys crafting, quilting and walking the beach with her dachshund, Bean. She gives both her time and her crafts to local animal shelters and the Glenridge Nursing Home.
